Aurio Pharma Laboratories was established in the year 1972 to produce liquid pharmaceuticals The founder Late Mr. Ramlal Bhattacharejee was a man of honour, integrity and determination.
He hailed from a humble background in East Pakistan (now Bangladesh). But due to his sheer motivation he challenged all the obstacles and promoted a liquid pharmaceutical manufacturing Company known as INDO PAK Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. back then at Barisal (now in Bangladesh).
But post partition era he had to leave behind everything that he earned and come to Kolkata,India. He again started from scratch and came up with Aurio Pharma Laboratories. Gradually he again started to overcome all the hurdle and made a unique position of Aurio Pharma Laboratories in the pharmaceutical sector of this country.
The company’s pioneer product GASSANOL is well accepted in Bengal and has a Pan India presence due to its unique combination in providing relief to patients with Ulcer & Gastric problem.
In the year 2000, the group further promoted another unit. The unit is well equipped to produce Capsules (Beta-lactum & Non Beta-lactum) & Tablets (Non-Beta-lactum). Previously the unit was known as Ramlal Laboratories Private Limited (RLPL) in The name of its founder Late Mr. Ramlal Bhattacharjee. Since its merger both the units are known as Aurio Pharma Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. Both are GMP and GLP certified.
The house is focused in achieving excellence in the healthcare business through “customer satisfaction”. Maintaining high standard of safety, quality, productivity and innovation acts as the guiding force for the members of the company.
